Cora Carroll is the founder and artist behind Mountain Maiden. The work is informed by a lineage of handcraft, with beading traditions passed down through family and metalsmithing developed through years of independent study and experimentation.
With a background in fine art and a practice grounded in both technical mastery and narrative depth, the work bridges precision and poetry. Each collection reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, visual harmony, and emotional resonance, inviting connection rather than consumption.
Today, the studio’s work is collected nationally and exhibited at juried fine art shows, including the Smithsonian. At its core, the practice remains rooted in devotion to making objects of beauty that feel alive, personal, and enduring.
